Go live with OBS

Create your board once, then reuse its output URL for every broadcast.

1. Create a board

Open My boards, sign in with Google, choose a sport or broadcast template and create a board. Free supports one active board. Archive a previous board if you need to create another.

2. Prepare your graphics

Open the control room. Set team names, scores, period and clock. Check the preview before starting the timer. Some branding and design options require Pro, which is not yet available to purchase.

3. Add the output to OBS

Copy the board’s output URL. In OBS, choose Sources → + → Browser, paste the URL and set width to 1920 and height to 1080. Use the output link, not the control room URL. The page background is transparent.

4. Check updates and audio

Keep the control room open on your computer or another device. Change the score and confirm the OBS preview updates, then set it back. If you enable sound, check the browser source audio and OBS mixer before broadcasting. No local server is required.

If the output is blank

• Use the complete output URL including its read token.
• Check the board is active, not archived.
• Confirm both devices have internet access, then refresh the OBS browser source.
• If editing stops after your login expires, sign in again. The output link does not require a Google login.

Treat your output link as private if your broadcast content is private. Never send your Google password to an operator.
